We’re back up and running

You may have been unable to access the IGSI blog earlier today.

We’re back!

The Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI) migrated to a new server last week, which went smoothly. As I understand it, however, the blog had a Domain Name System (DNS) issue. Thanks to Bob Zimmerman for getting us back up and working!

We’ve been struggling to fix problems with the IGSI website for more than two […]

We’re Back!

We’ve “escaped a bullet,” as they say. A WordPress update failed to complete last Friday, April 11, which prevented me from logging in to edit or post for over four days! There was some concern that the archived items couldn’t be restored. Happily, it looks like most everything is back to normal.

If you’re reading this blog, you’ve found your way to the new-and-improved, soon-to-be-formally-launched Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI) website. Welcome!

Our goal for this blog is to post tidbits of useful information on a regular basis. Items posted will always (we hope) be of interest to family history researchers, but there will be a strong […]
