Going to Dublin This Summer?

If you’re lucky enough to be planning a trip to Ireland this summer, don’t forget to spend some time at the National Library of Ireland (NLI). Starting tomorrow (June 2) and through the end of September,  genealogists from Eneclann and Ancestor Network will be at the library on Kildare Street to assist NLI staff with its free Genealogy Advisory Service.

Hours are:

Monday thru Friday: 9:30 am to 4:45 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am to 12:45 pm

Of course, you should exhaust all leads here in the United States before you appear at the National Library and ask for their help. Remember the Irish Genealogical Society (IGSI) has experienced research volunteers on hand each “Irish Saturday” – the second Saturday of  the month – at the MGS library. Other times may be available if scheduled well in advance.

IGSI research help is available a number of other ways, too.  Read here about how we might assist: http://irishgenealogical.org/page/research-help
