Getting your DNA test results is exciting, but interpreting them can be confusing! Plan now to attend the April 11 class on “Interpreting your DNA results.”
The second Saturday of the month is ‘Irish Saturday’ with classes sponsored by Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI). This month Beth Vought will present helpful guidance on DNA basics, common matches, chromosome browser and X-matches.
While her presentation is based on Family Tree DNA Family Finder test results, interpreting results from other companies is similar. If you have Family Finder results and would like to follow along on your account, bring your laptop and you can connect through the library’s wi-fi.
WHEN: Saturday, April 11, 2015, 10:30-12 noon
WHERE: Minnesota Genealogical Society (MGS) Library, 1185 Concord St N, South St Paul, MN
COST: $10 for IGSI members, $15 for non-members
For more information and to register, click here: www.irishgenealogical.org/scheduled-classes
After the class, experienced volunteers will be on hand to assist you with your questions about Irish family history research. (The MGS library is open until 4 pm.)
