Preparation for an Irish research trip

Now’s the time to think about a trip to Ireland! The July Irish Saturday class sponsored by Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI) will help you be adequately prepared.

Ann Eccles and Mary Wickersham will present “Preparation for an Irish research trip.” They’ll cover where to find records in Ireland and what to do when you get there! Dublin and Belfast archives will be explored, along with some information on archives, the heritage centres and some tips for traveling to Ireland.

Ann and Mary are experienced Irish researchers and past IGSI presidents, each having made multiple trips to the Emerald Isle. This class will be a perfect opportunity to hear their advice about what to do – and perhaps what not to do – in Ireland.

WHERE? Minnesota Genealogical Society (MGS) Library, 1185 St North, S St Paul, MN
