New issue of Irish Lives Remembered

The September/October issue of Irish Lives Remembered is available online.

Here are a few highlights:

  1. Fiona Fitzsimons writes about her research into the McCreights, Jeremy Irons’ ancestors in County Down;
  2. Findmypast shares six steps for tracing workhouse ancestors;
  3. The U.S. focus in on the state of Texas. Joe Buggy writes about locating Irish immigrants there, and Maureen Wiodarczyk tells the story of Rosalie Hart, who emigrated from County Wexford;
  4. As usual, you’ll find lots of other interesting articles and many photos. I even enjoy reading the advertisements!
