This Saturday, November 14, is the last Irish Saturday in 2015 at the MGS Library, and IGSI has planned a special class.
Beth Vought will be presenting “Family Finder Test DNA Results— Where does a beginner start?”
Autosomal DNA is one of the most common DNAs used in genetic genealogy testing today. Family Tree DNA, a genetic genealogy company, offers an autosomal test called Family Finder. In this class we will focus on several tools included with your Family Finder test results. You can use these tools to analyze your results. Bring your computer if you want to follow along in class (recommended for the best learning experience). This beginner class is for persons who have received FTDNA (www.familytreedna.com) Family Finder test results by the class date.
Note these prerequisites:
- You must already have received results from the FamilyTreeDNA Family Finder Test (for yourself or someone else).
- Review the DNA terminology list. For terminology list or questions contact Beth D. Vought at email@example.com before Thursday Nov 12. After that date you’ll get the handout in class.
