See the CCC ’16 program brochure

This is the moment we’ve been waiting for! The Celtic Connections Conference ’16 brochure is being released!

Here are a few highlights about the Celtic Roots Across America conference:

  • WHEN? August 5-6, 2016.
  • WHERE? DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
  • HOW MUCH? The cost for the two-day conference is $150.

Names of the speakers have been announced previously, but now you can read more about their presentations in the conference brochure – and start making plans to attend. The brochure has been posted on the websites of the sponsors: Irish Genealogical Society Intl (IGSI) and The Irish Ancestry Research Association (TIARA). View the brochure here:  or

Five international speakers – all megastars in the genealogy world —  will offer information on resources and research in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland: John Grenham, Brian Mitchell, Brian Donovan, William Roulston, and Dr. Bruce Durie.

Nine more U.S. genealogists and historians will complement the program with additional topics. These include Minnesota speakers Tom Rice, Paula Stuart-Warren, Lois A. Mackin, Sheila Northrop, and Alice Eichholz. Nora Galvin, Dick Doherty, Michael Brophy, and William Mulligan, Jr. will be here as well.

The big names don’t end there! Minnesota resident celebrities, Kieran Folliard and Erin Hart, will participate in the conference as well. Kieran Folliard, Irish-born U.S. entrepreneur, will share his observations on the changing face of the Irish immigrant at Friday evening’s banquet. Award-winning mystery writer, Erin Hart, will discuss the background for her novels (set in Ireland) at Saturday’s luncheon.

For more information on the speakers, the program, the hotel and more, view the conference brochure on either the IGSI or TIARA site. You’ll also find a printable form for mail-in registration. (Please note that a separate registration form is required for each attendee.)

Online registration will open soon on the official Celtic Connections site:
