Do you love to read mysteries and crime fiction? Do you appreciate the complexities of forensics? Add a charming author talking about mysterious Irish bogs and you have the formula for an intriguing lunchtime!
Erin Hart, author of Nora Gavin/Cormac Maguire novels, will be the featured speaker Saturday, August 6, at the Celtic Connections Conference ’16 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Minneapolis-Park Place.
Hart’s talk, “The Past is Always Underfoot,” may shed light on her approach to writing four award-winning books: Haunted Ground (2003), Lake of Sorrows (2004), False Mermaid (2010) and The Book of Killoween (2013). She is a member of the Authors’ Guild, Mystery Writers of America, and Sisters in Crime.
The bio on Hart’s website reveals how she came to crime fiction: http://erinhart.com/erin.php.
