Bishop’s Bank of Philadelphia

If your Irish-Catholic ancestors lived in the Philadelphia area during the mid-19th century, you may be very grateful for a resource disclosed by Kyle Betit and Claire Santry!

“Bishop’s Bank” opened in May 1848, and its three ledgers and 2000+ pages are now available online at Villanova University’s Digital Library.
