Irish Genealogical Society Intl (IGSI) typically celebrates Irish Saturday on the second Saturday of each month. In July 2016, we’ll have twice the opportunities for Irish family history research.
Experienced researchers will be available at the MGS Library – as usual – on Saturday, July 9, to assist with Irish resources. Hours at the library, located at 1185 Concord St N in South St Paul, are 10 am to 4 pm.
But the IGSI-sponsored class will happen on Saturday, July 16, 10:30 am to 12 noon, with Mary Wickersham as the presenter. Here’s the class description:
Using Databases to Research Your Information
As more information comes online, it is vital that you know how to use these databases to maximize your research efforts. Mary will cover the latest information on databases and show you how to use them.
The class fee is $15 for IGSI members and $20 for non-members. If you’re unable to attend the class, you can order class notes by sending $5 to IGSI.
