Researching Scots-Irish Ancestors

June 10th is Irish Saturday at the Minnesota Genealogical Society (MGS) library with a class on “Researching Scots-Irish Ancestors.”

Many of us have discovered that we have links to Scotland in our ancestry. A class, sponsored by Irish Genealogical Society Intl (IGSI), features presenter Sheila Northrop who will help navigate the many resources available to you.

WHEN?  Saturday, 10 June 2017, 10:30 am to 12 noon

WHERE?  MGS Library, 1185 N. Concord, South St. Paul, MN

COST? $15 for IGSI members, $20 for non-members.

You can register online ( or walk in on the morning of the class. If you aren’t able to attend, you can also get a copy of the class notes for $5.

Experienced volunteers are available on Irish Saturdays to assist with your research. The library is open 10 am to 4 pm.
