But particularly in cases where the intended recipient doesn’t share your enthusiasm, you may need to think about how to make the gift more attractive. Give this article a read for “8 ideas to add even more excitement to your AncestryDNA gift”:  https://blogs.ancestry.com/ancestry/2017/11/30.

AncestryDNA is offering their kits for $69, through December 14:  https://www.ancestry.com/dna/?o_xid=57463&o_lid=57463&o_sch=Social. (I see there’s also a “buy three kits, get one free” deal.)

FamilyTreeDNA offers a number of discounts across its product range, through December 31:  https://www.familytreedna.com/?idev_id=1787&utm_source=1787&utm_medium=affiliate

23andme is discounting their Ancestry service to $79, as well as taking $50 off their Health and Ancestry service (now $149). Prices good through December 26:  https://www.23andme.com/compare-dna-tests/
