Double classes in February

The Irish Genealogical Society International (IGSI) celebrates “Irish Saturday” most months by sponsoring a class on the second Saturday. February 2018 brings twice the opportunities for learning!

Two classes – with different topics & presenters and held in different locations – will be offered this month. Both sessions begin at 10:30 am.

1.  Saturday, February 10 at the MGS Library and Research Center, 1385 Mendota Heights Road in Mendota Heights:  “Finding an Immigrant’s Place of Origin,” with Tom Rice

2.  Saturday, February 17 at the Celtic Junction Arts Center, 836 Prior Avenue North in St Paul: “Not All Irish Were Catholic,” with Audrey Leonard

The fee for each class is $15 for IGSI members or $20 for non-members.  If you can’t attend, class notes can be purchased for $5. You can register online or walk in the day of the class.

Irish Saturday also means experienced volunteers will be on hand February 10 at the Mendota Heights location to help with your Irish genealogical research. Library hours are 10 am to 4 pm.
