September is a lovely time to be in Ireland

Index to Clare bio notices, 1903-1934

Clare Roots Society has completed indexing biographical notices found in the weekly newspaper Clare Champion from March 1903 through 1934. The indexes were presented to the Clare County Library where they can be viewed online free.

Oh, to be in County Clare this week! The Clare Roots Society is sponsoring a lecture on Thursday, April 17 in Ennis. Dr. Catherine Swift, lecturer in Irish Studies at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick, will be the guest speaker. Her presentation is entitled “Brian Ború, The Last Great High King of Ireland.”
